  • Day I Are we doing the right project?

    Many projects, despite implementing the solution, do not bring the expected benefits to the company,
    and sometimes even cause losses. On this day you will learn:
    o Check if your project will benefit your business
    o Choose the most favourable option of the solution (not necessarily the first one that came to mind)
    o Estimate the benefits of the project and compare them with the costs
    o Recommend decision makers whether to start/continue the project and how it will bring the most
    benefits

    You will examine the business case for the internal design and product for the market.
    For the project, you will analyze the necessary changes in the organization (analysis of strategy,
    organization, SWOT, analysis of processes, resources, defining a business goal, etc.).

    For the product you will learn how to conduct a market analysis (analysis of the competitive environment),
    estimate the amount of revenue, identify potential customers (persona, Value Proposition Canvas), create
    a business model (Business Model Canvas), plan product release (MVP - Minimum Viable Product) and
    verify the solution on the market (focus groups, surveys with users).

    You will do the exercises and you will receive ready-made templates.

    Day II How to obtain requirements?

    o Where to start getting requirements? On this day you will learn:
    o From whom to acquire requirements? - stakeholder analysis
    o Choose the method for acquiring requirements accordingly - a review of the techniques
    o Ask for the right information - checklist information to be obtained
    o Plan the acquisition of requirements - a sourcing plan for stakeholders, a few ready-made scenarios
    o Prepare the interview, workshop and brainstorming - checklists and some ready-made scenarios
    o Control the conversation in a logical and focused on important information

    After this training, acquiring requirements will reach a new level of quality

  • Day III How to save requirements?
  • How to save the acquired requirements? On this day you are waiting:
    o Review of the most common forms of the persistence of requirements in a traditional and agile
    approach - specification of requirements, descriptions of use cases, product backlog, user stories,
    prototypes / models, BPMN diagrams, UML, etc.
    o Exercise to specify requirements in the form of a description of use cases, user stories
    o Presentation of the work on the requirements in the tools: Word + SVN, Enterprise Architect, Visual
    Paradigm repository
    o Discussing the model with the requirements in the Visual Paradigm tool
    o Choosing the way of documenting the requirements to the project's characteristics
    o Change requirements management - change requests, impact analysis
    o Verification, validation of requirements and evaluation of the solution
